This is a one-page update on how the project “reducing UTI in LTC using the NHSN criteria.
Few things to add are,
1 Our Uti patients have reduced to near o since October,
2, the new unit manager on the 3rd floor is working well with the team
3. The dietary department has ordered more supply of cranberry juice till December and fluid updates on every patient log.
4 As per the PDSA cycle, the dementia unit on P3 should have staff label cup twice a day to make sure they are having the correct fluid.
