I am in my last semester at Fayetteville state university and will be getting my master’s in psychology in December. I plan to work in crisis stabilization or become a criminal profiler/probation officer.

Graduate Program Learning Outcomes
Human Biological, Behavioral, Cognitive, Emotional, & Social Growth and Development: Students will evaluate the major theories of individual and family development and behavior across the life span and apply these psychological theories to professional contexts.
Social and Cultural Diversity: Students will analyze the impact of the major aspects of human diversity including (but not limited to) socioeconomic status, gender, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, age, health, and physical/intellectual abilities on the self as a cultural being. Students will also expand their frame of reference in application of theoretical and research paradigms of diversity to psychological and professional contexts.
Communication Skills and Relationships: Students will be able to explain theories of communication and their application to promoting relational effectiveness in personal, supervisory, consultative, and other professional contexts. Students will demonstrate effective communication skills.
Research: Students will be able to engage in research processes including producing research questions, operationalizing psychological variables, and determining appropriate statistical analyses. Students will exhibit an understanding of psychological research methodology and will demonstrate the ability to critique psychological research.
Ethics and Professional Identity: Students will demonstrate an understanding of ethical principles and professional codes of conduct including APA ethical standards and will apply ethical decision making to professional ethical issues, problems, and contexts. Students will engage in the construction of a personal career pathway that defines their professional goals, objectives, and identity.
