I Title: successful strategies to attract and retain library staff. Make sure references are in 2022
Provide at least 3 brief summaries of recent, scholarly (peer-reviewed) articles or government publications that support/justify a current and relevant business problem in your discipline or professional field (dissertations and doctoral studies are not peer-reviewed). Source(s) supporting your framework should be included. Include the complete, APA reference entry followed by (a) an in-text citation, (b) what they studied, (c) what they found, and (d) why this is important in relation to your study. This evidence provides the justification for your research problem. NOTE: The studies you choose should be particularly relevant to your topic, rather than general, so that you are able to provide support for your specific problem. Several should address the conceptual framework.
EXAMPLE:
Ababneh, O. M. A. (2021). How do green HRM practices affect employees’ green behaviors? The role of team member engagement and personality attributes. Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, 64(7), 1204–1226. https://doi.org/10.1080/09640568.2020.1814708
(a) Ababneh (2021) (b) examined how employee engagement with environmental efforts acts as a mediator between green HRM practices and individual green behavior. (c) Notably, the study revealed that strengthening the connection between strategic environmental objectives and human resource management (HRM) procedures increased organizational employees’ contribution toward implementing environmentally sustainable actions. The connection between green behaviors was established based on personality types and, thus, full team member engagement. Finally, (d) this study contributes to the association of environmental initiatives and employee engagement as a psychological mechanism of job satisfaction and motivation, an aspect of the 2-factor framework of employee engagement (EE) in my research proposal on talent attraction and retention in library systems, where this concept of matching HRM practices with organizational objectives is valuable in improving the levels of EE.
