Looking at the two books of Joshua and Judges, the book of Joshua gives the reader a depiction leader who had a plan, and consulted with God on regular basis about this plan. In the book of Judges, the people of Israel have leaders who were extremely flawed, especially in the case of Samson. Additionally, the end of Joshua and Judges are drastically different.
