You should use the Central Texas College Oveta Culp Hobby Memorial Library to find your articles for the reports. There is a Logistics User Guide available on the CTC Library website. They have many online resources for journals, articles, and e-books. The following are the preferred but not required sources available through the Hobby Memorial Library.
The paper should be at least 250 words and structured as follows:
Learning objective: State the learning objective from the lesson addressed in the article.
Summary of the article: Summarize the article by stating the main points in your own words in a few complete sentences. DO NOT include your analysis in the summary section of the report. A summary includes only information that is contained in the article–it is not an essay.
Analysis: Answer the question: “Does this article support or contradict the text?” Substantiate your answers with quotations and paraphrases from the text and give the parenthetical citation in APA format. Do not cite a broad range of pages as the source for the answer.
Relation to your experience or observation: Compare and contrast your experience with the conclusions in the text or the researched article. Your relevant experience or observation may include a prior job or a consumer of goods and services.
Reference Properly: formatted APA reference.
The report must be in an acceptable format with all the items completed. You will have five Level 1 APA headings. Full APA format is not required. The title is not a separate page, and no abstract is required. In-text citations and references should conform to APA standards. Level 1 headings set out the different sections for clarity. A cover page and an abstract are not required. Headings, in-text citations, and references should conform to APA standards. You must use correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
